Turabian is the popular name of a format for the writing style of research papers (A manual for writers of term papers, theses and dissertations by Kate L. Turabian.) It is intended to be a simplified substitute for The Chicago Manual of Style. Academic fields which often rely on the Turabian style include musicology, history, art history, women's studies, and theology.

    According to Turabian 7th edition, 17.5.1, you do not need to include Classical, Medieval and Early English Literary Works in bibliography unless you are in literary studies. However you should include them in notes. Notes form is very simple, for example:
            1. Beowulf, lines 2401-5.
            2. Aristophanes Frogs 1019-30.
            3. Augustine De civitate Dei 20.2.
            4. Milton, Paradise Lost, book 1, lines 83-86.
        Classical and Medieval works - no punctuation between author and title or between title and section nr.
If you are in field that requires bibliography of classical books then you should use eTurabian book input and enter the translator or editor fields and it will follow the rules for modern books (17.1.1) as Turabian indicated in 17.5.1. The notes also should follow 17.1.1 as generated by this program.
